"If you go for something nasty/horror/suppressing, then it works. But if you want something pleasant it's rather not...Maybe there is a sine sub playing, my speakers can't produce it(below 40-50hz). I hear only the crackly part of the bass. And I don't really like it as it is a bit overwhelming."

"well it's not sounding particularly 'intelligent' at the moment the kick has little to no low end maybe just master the basics of electronic music production for now and keep it simple rather than relying on fancy techniques like applying dc offset to try and make your music sound good or 'intelligent'...Also DC offset creates frequencies at 0hz that are inaudible to the human ear and take up head room unnecessarily whilst sounding exactly the same so removing DC offset is probably advisable."
